Getting to know your Sewing Machine

In this class, you will learn how to confidently operate a sewing machine, whether you're a complete beginner or have used only basic functions like the straight stitch. You may bring your own sewing machine or use one of ours. Our instructor will guide you through the process of navigating all those knobs, dials, and buttons! By the end of the class, you’ll have the skills to set up and maintain your machine, select stitches, and make adjustments for successful sewing projects. **Topics Covered** * How the sewing machine works * Thread and bobbin setup * Selecting the right stitch and width * Adjusting thread tension * Machine maintenance and cleaning **Additional Information** If you bring your own machine please bring the foot pedal, power cord, and all accessories that came with your machine, including your manual and feet.
