In this class you will learn the basics of laser cutter operation on out OMTech laser cutters. We will teach you the skills needed to safely and effectively operate the machines. Our instructor will guide you through the process step by step, tool by tool. **Topics Covered** * Laser cutter safety * Vector cutting vs. etching * Thickness and types of wood to cut * Laser cutting fundamentals * Illustrator basics * Your first cut and etch **Additional Information** After the successful completion of this class attendees will be given a certificate allowing them use of the OMTech laser cutters with a paid Make Salt Lake membership. Please note this class does not grant access to the Full Spectrum laser cutter.
