Woodshop - Cutting Board Make & Take

In this class, you will make your own take-home, solid wood cutting board while learning woodshop safety and the fundamental use of the tools listed below. This class fulfills the necessary certification to use our woodshop with a paid Make Salt Lake membership. Our instructor will guide you through the process step by step, tool by tool. **Topics Covered** * Dual Compound Miter Saw * Jointer * Tablesaw * Planer * Bandsaw * Jigsaw * Drill Press * Router Table * Hand Router * Oscillating Sanders * Orbital Hand Sander **Additional Information** Every attendee will leave with a cutting board of their own making. Attendees must be at least 13 years and up. After the successful completion of this class attendees will be given a certificate allowing them use of the woodshop with a paid Make Salt Lake membership.
