Tech Tuesday: Protecting Your Research

Join us on Tuesday, July 14, from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM for a Tech Tuesday lunch conversation on intellectual property, research protection, and the resources available to help researchers and innovators move their work forward. Experts from the Marriott Library and the United States Patent and Trademark Office will join the Technology Licensing Office to discuss how faculty, researchers, and industry partners can identify, understand, and protect intellectual property that may emerge from research, collaboration, and innovation. Attendees will learn practical tools, campus resources, and key considerations for safeguarding discoveries, navigating invention disclosures, and preparing for commercialization or broader impact. This event is intended for faculty, research leaders, and industry professionals across disciplines and sectors. Lunch will be provided.
