    Free weekly morning meeting where one or two local founders present their company and take questions and feedback from the audience.

  • Third Thursday @ Three Startup Pitch Event

    Monthly, third Thursday, 3:00 to 5:00 PM

    Lehi. The exact address is shown after registration; recent editions have been at Silicon Slopes HQ and Kiln Lehi

    Monthly pitch event hosted by Ray Smithson of Kinect Capital: three to five 3-minute pitches, then networking with founders, mentors and investors.

  • Utah Business Founder Friday

    Monthly, a Friday morning, 9:00 to 11:00 AM

    Rotating Kiln locations (Lehi, Holladay, Salt Lake City)

    Free monthly interview with a Utah founder, hosted by Utah Business, with seating limited to about 140.

  • Scale STG Startup Friday

    Monthly, usually the first Friday, 12:00 to 1:00 PM

    Kiln St. George, 1575 S River Rd, St. George

    Monthly lunchtime meetup from the Scale STG nonprofit: two or three short pitches from local builders, then an open floor and networking with mentors.

  • Silicon Slopes founder and CEO conversations

    Several per month, midday (about noon MT)

    Silicon Slopes headquarters, Lehi

    Midday talks at Silicon Slopes in which Utah founders and CEOs discuss how they built their companies.

  • University of Utah Tech Tuesday

    Every two to three months, Tuesday, 5:00 to 7:00 PM

    University of Utah Technology Licensing Office area, 303 Chipeta Way, Salt Lake City (Research Park)

    Evening networking event, 21 and over, from the University of Utah Technology Licensing Office, connecting researchers, startups, investors and industry partners around commercialization.

  • Women Entrepreneurs of Park City

    Monthly, evening (Aug and Sep 2026 sessions were on the second Wednesday)

    Kiln Park City, 1090 Center Dr, Park City

    Monthly gathering for women building businesses, with a guest-led education session, hot-seat problem solving and open networking.

Big startup events through the year

  • Hard Tech Week

    First held October 26 to 30, 2026, with 47G's Zero Gravity Summit on Oct 28 to 29. Future dates not announced.

    Salt Lake City, with events across Utah

    A week of community-hosted events on aerospace, defense, energy, advanced manufacturing and other hard tech, organized by 47G with Utah Tech Week and Silicon Slopes and anchored by 47G's Zero Gravity Summit.

  • Utah Tech Week

    Late January or early February (2025: Jan 27 to Feb 1; 2026: Feb 2 to 7). No 2027 dates announced.

    Salt Lake City and Point of the Mountain (Lehi and Draper area)

    Free, community-run week of events hosted by startups, investors and local organizations; the 2025 edition had more than 220 events.

  • Silicon Slopes Summit

    Usually January to March. Next: SUMMIT 2027, March 18 to 19, 2027 (2026 ran Feb 4 to 7).

    Salt Palace Convention Center, Salt Lake City

    Silicon Slopes' flagship conference for Utah's tech community, with keynotes, breakout sessions and networking.

  • StartFEST

    June (2026: June 23 to 24). Next edition not yet announced.

    2026: Loveland Living Planet Aquarium, Draper

    Two-day startup festival from Silicon Slopes and Mountain America Credit Union, with talks on building and funding companies, a hackathon and the Utah regional round of the Startup World Cup.

  • Tim Draper Utah Entrepreneur Challenge

    Spring finals (2026: March 28). Next finals: March 20, 2027.

    University of Utah, Salt Lake City

    Statewide student business competition run by the Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute, with $75,000 in cash and prizes split among the top 20 finalist teams.

  • Lassonde Demo Day

    Late April or early May (2026: April 29). Next: Wednesday, May 5, 2027, 3:00 to 5:00 PM.
